Slighter releases heavy breakcore influenced single ‘Brute Force’

Prior to even listening to Slighter’s new single ‘Brute Force’ the cover art alone told me that I was going to enjoy it. The cyberpunk influence mixed with somewhat cartoonish, somewhat scanlined title font gave me an accurate description of the song. And sure, you can say, “Don’t judge a book by its cover.” But considering my familiarity with Colin C.’s work in the field I was confident in my thoughts. And I sure was. The cinematic maestro has crafted a heavy, breakcore fueled cybernetic assault on the senses with ‘Brute Force’. Check it out.

Slighter has released two versions of the single. The canon version complete with the vocals and a slightly longer dub mix perfect for DJs and dancefloors alike. ‘Brute Force’ is but a taste of what’s to come in 2025.
