Seldom are there artists that have such grandeur output on a regular basis in such capacity that its quite frankly awe inspiring. Such is the case for techno / EBM act Urban Matrix, one of the scene’s best kept secrets that, for whatever reason, hasn’t exploded yet. Which is quite shocking to me considering that his music is well-produced and, comparing it to some of the other shit I hear, blows it out of the water. We even went on to release a CD with Urban Matrix on our record label.

Either way, Urban Matrix is sending us off in 2024 with his brand new album “Into Darkness”. This ten-track EP keeps his signature themes going; danceable techno / EBM beats, sample riddled tracks, crushing bass, and songs that perfectly capture the dancefloor feeling. His retro-futurism is on point as indicated by the cover art utilizing an image that would not be so out of place in the likes of the Fallout video game series. You can stream it directly below.
