Suzi Sabotage Releases Seven Track Remix EP for ‘Nazi Goths, Fuck Off’

You know, if there’s one benefit of being a bit of an introvert in any music related scene it’s that I get to enjoy the music and seldom encounter problems within the scene. Sure, I can comment on it, but I do not envy anyone who has to deal with the real life drama that comes with performing shows and networking. Unfortunately the sad reality for a lot of touring musicians, club owners, and the general public is that they do have to face down these issues. And there are two ways of going about it: ignoring it and hoping that things will take care of themselves, or face it directly. And that’s exactly what Suzi Sabotage did with her single and cover ‘Nazi Goths, Fuck Off’.

Now, to be clear, I’ve never personally met a Nazi goth nor did I think they could exist but apparently they do according to multiple sources. Which is ironic, I suppose, considering that Goth / Industrial subculture has always been dedicated to what used to be considered outcasts and the like. Regardless, Sabotage crafted this song with all that in mind and now seven souls have taken the song and transformed it into a danceable club banger. Hexmaschine, Snowbeasts, Cassandra Complex, SPAECIALISTA, BlakLight, Opioid Slot Machine, and Norska are all here to sing and chant along and spread the word. My two favorite remixes come from Snowbeasts and Opioid Slot Machine, so check those out first.

Speaking on the single Sabotage had this to say.

Far-right ideologies are not compatible with goth. Goth is rebellion against the mainstream and celebration of diversity – whereas nazis and conservatives advocate for rigid conformity, which makes them at war against what goth is all about. The goth movement has always taken pride in being a safe haven for people from all backgrounds, and if nazis are made [to] feel welcome, it will become dangerous for people of color, LGBTQ, women, and just anyone who doesn’t harbor fascist views. So let’s show nazi “goths” the door and keep our scene safe.
