It’s always fun seeing how a band can extend their project’s release beyond it’s mortal phase, continuing to plunder and see re-imaginings of their child. Most times that comes by way of remix EPs – and so that’s what NECRØ has done. Years of Denial, Madd Rod & Radondo, Xinobi, Cage, and IAMTHESHADOW have all taken turns putting their own spin on Perfect World, Into Oblivion, No Rainbows Underground, and Cold Cut from their 2024 album Into Oblivion.
Being one of Portugal’s finest exports in the dark electronic scene, they have rose to prominence through their unique blend of industrial, darkwave, and techno. They’ve graced the stages at festivals such as Monitor and Amplifest and are now set to tour Europe starting in just a few days. Germany, France, and Austria are about to head into oblivion for sure.
