grabyourface releases new single ‘You Will Never Be Happy’

It’s a bit hard describing grabyourface’s musical stylings at the best of times but I believe that her Bandcamp page describes it accurately enough as urban industrial hybrid singing about sad stuff. And the singing about sad stuff couldn’t be anymore true than when discussing the project’s latest single You Will Never Be Happy.

And no I’m not saying that you will never be happy but I am stating that the single is called You Will Never Be Happy which is quite paradoxical as I’m quite the jolly sort whenever grabyourface releases something new. Regardless of the sarcasm present within these statements the song comes from a deep, emotional place that deserves your immediate attention and builds up with some hope at the end which is personified by the titular artist climbing over mountains. This is in both a metaphorical statement and a physical one as the music video grabyourface released with it has scenes of grabyourface physically climbing over mountains. A+ on the song and the exercise.

The good news for fans of people who enjoy grabbing their face is that this is just the start of something much bigger. You Will Never Be Happy is but a portion of the work to be found on grabyourface’s forthcoming album Sadgirl Mixtape which will be released on February 5th, 2025.

As a footnote I’ve a bucket list of things that I want to get done in the industrial scene and having my face grabbed by grabyourface is now on there.
