Various Artists - Detoxi / New Skeletal Faces - Split

New Skeletal Faces and Detoxi join forces with Plain Disguise Records to unleash another round of split cassette singles. Like The Wraith / Screaming Dead release, the cover is total DIY with a slip cover and liner notes. Both bands display some gloomy artwork with hints of the occult and other dark esoteric matters.
Detoxi plays an all out, in your face gloom and doom post punk/ death rock with goth influences in a punk chassis. The new single "Beyond The Grave" picks up right after where the band's amazing First Flesh album left off. The execution is an ensemble of raw vicious and enchanting melodies that follow the instrumentation all the way to the glorious end. "Beyond The Grave" can also be found on Detoxi's new 12" In Laughter that's available to preorder now.
New Skeletal Faces embody the darkest sides of the genres. The vocals are shouty and aggressive and complimented with occult imagery. The band's power and prowess to slice and thrash relentlessly will soon overtake any hesitation to explore deeper into the inner sanctum of New Skeletal Faces. If you enjoyed the ferocity of Celestial Disease you will certainly dig this single.
We should all be looking forward to the future with Detoxi and New Skeletal Faces. They are among the torchbearers to the next wave of bands inhabiting this dimly lit corridor of dark fascinations.
