Under Control EBM Hioctan Uninspiring and boring are two words that come to mind when I hear Hioctan. It's not always about change and the need to create something new. Sometimes old can be good but not in this case. Hioctan is a band that takes a bit of the old school EBM from the 80's and add a bit of melody and heavily distorted vocals to it. Sounds good? It's not (at least not in this case)! So what does 'Under Control' offer us? Well, I would say 14 tracks of minimalistic Hash EBM with a few samples and some few but catchy melodies. The production on the other hand isn't bad at all and the vocals are decent. So not everything is bad, just too few good ones. 350
