Letters from Dystopia Dark Electro, Electro-Industrial C-Drone-Defect 'Letters from Dystopia' was actually released before 'Dystopia' as a free download EP, to highlight the coming release and create some more interest of the full-length album. We have already reviewed 'Dystopia', but hey, better late than never, right? This free download EP contains two original tracks that also where featured on the album, my favourite track "Mori Te Salutant" as well as "Mundus Vult Decipi" that is also a very strong track and one of my favourite from the album. These two alone would create some real tension for the "Dystopia" release. We also get no less than seven remixes, some of them from the two earlier mentioned tracks, but also some of the tracks that were not released until the album. Here I do not find as much interesting as with the original versions, part from the hard pounding remix of "Mori Te Salutant" by Engelmacher and the remix of "Mundus Vult Decipi" by Plastik Suicide. Still, I think this free EP would create some interest for the 'Dystopia' album, even though C-Drone-Defekt's original versions of the songs are far better than many of the remixes presented here. 350
