Industrial project Zwaremachine has released their brand-new remix EP Waking the Night and it’s currently listed as a free download on Bandcamp. And who doesn’t like free things, am I right? The single does come with glorious news that it is part of Zwaremachine’s third full-length album. Alongside that the band has stated that the EP does depart from their usual sound. Remixes from Planktoon, VV303, DARKER, and Statik Sekt are abound. You can hear for yourself below.
Waking the Night serves as a tribute to member Dein Offizier who passed away in August 2023 after a battle with acute myeloid leukemia. The drums on the track were originally recorded by Offizier in 2023.
