Heavy Halo Drops New Single ‘Erase Yr Fate’, Announces New Album

“A raw human core encased in a exoskeleton of dense layers of futuristic electronics.”

Those are the words of vocalist McKeever reflecting Heavy Halo’s approach to making their musical ambitions come to life. And, when it’s said that well, who am I to argue? I can’t really find a better way of saying it than what the artist originally said; well spoken. And after listening up on their most recent single ‘Erase Yr Fate’, I couldn’t agree more. Sure, there’s some trappings of the alt rock genre found in there, but there’s no denying the synthetic influence industrial has had on both McKeever and his partner in crime Gosteffects. A simple and effective dance rock anthem sure to set any industrial playlist on fire. Or, in my case, a good edition to an industrial workouts playlist. You can stream it yourself directly below.

This single is helping lead the way to Heavy Halo’s upcoming album “Damaged Dream”. Already teased previously with the title track of the album, Heavy Halo is gearing up for the 2025 release of the album via Silent Pendulum Records. Speaking on the album, McKeever had a mouthful. He stated:

Damaged Dream is what you’re left with when the ideals you hold shatter. Cruel reality brings the hammer down on the purity of innocence, energy, joy, youth, love, creativity, optimism. But while the dream is damaged, it is not completely destroyed. Desperate times call for desperate measures, and you can use the longing spark deep within you as fuel to wage war against the negative forces pulling you down. You can reject nihilism and strive to reclaim your agency and meaning in a chaotic world. The first Heavy Halo album is in hell, mired in the dark murk. Damaged Dream is purgatory. Pushing harder to dig out of that hole. It lashes out like a wounded animal, refusing to go down without a fight.

Again, I can’t say it any better. The album is available for pre-order HERE.
