From the Carrion cult comes their latest sermon, a thoughtful look at the eternal cycle of life and death through experimental modular synths, rock, and metal. Hide Tepes, founder of Carrion, seeks escapism from this vicious clockwork in order to achieve true liberation. He further described the song as being about, “hopelessness and somewhat begrudgingly carrying on despite the seeming futility of it all.” Influenced by the likes of alchemy, Carl Jung, and animalistic survival, “Shatter the Seals” comes with the title track as well as a rework of ‘Messor’.

‘Shatter the Seals’ comes off of Carrion’s forthcoming album “Evangelium Haeresis” which is due out this Winter.

I've been writing for Brutal Resonance since November of 2012 and now serve as the editor-in-chief. I love the dark electronic underground and usually have too much to listen to at once but I love it. I am also an editor at Aggressive Deprivation, a digital/physical magazine since March of 2016. I support the scene as much as I can from my humble laptop.
