Her Noise Is Violence : Prison Planet Disco : 8 out of 10
I get a little giddy whenever Her Noise Is Violence releases a new single or EP or album due to the sole fact that I don’t know which side of her is going to come out. Am I going to receive a danceable techno rhythm that’ll keep me going during my circuits at the gym or am I going to receive an amalgamation of pain and suffering branching through the void as noise textures? You just never know until you hit that play button. This time we’ve received another phenomenal techno single brought to you by black and neon-pink graphics featuring chains and barbed wire. Five-minutes and some seconds of catchy and rhythmic smooth techno to get your feet moving on a dancefloor. Enough said.
Black Magnet : Demos : ? out of 10
I don’t rate demos. At least I don’t think I do, or ever did, there may have been one or two out in the void that I did review in the past but it left a poor taste in my mouth and I’ve since shuttered the idea. Nonetheless, demos are how bands come to life and become more than just a name on a local street. Industrial Metal phenomenon Black Magnet understands that more than most, and has decided to showcase a couple of new and old demos explaining how important listening to demos has been for him throughout his career. You’ll find four choice cuts on this release. Crazy thing is that Laughing at Myself, though a demo, sounds like it could be an already finished track. Can’t wait to see what he does in full in 2027.
Amelia Arsenic : Rave Traitors (feat. TENSØR & Charles Scott IV) : 8.5 out of 10
Three years after we last heard from her Amelia Arsenic hits back with a brand-new single titled Rave Traitors, a lil something that’s serving as a sneak peek from her forthcoming, yet-to-be-named album. When is it out? I don’t know. Though it’ll hopefully be soon in like early-2027, and I bet hoping for a 2026 release is wishful thinking. We’ll see how the stars align. In any event, what we get is another frenetic and energetic single combining hard beats and metal into something that wouldn’t feel out of place on the tracklist of an arcade racer. Can’t wait to hear more in the near-future.

The only reason why this is getting no rating is I haven’t had the time to exactly digest everything on this compilation. But thanks to word of mouth from my good buddy HOSTILE ARCHITECT, I found out about this little shindig. This compilation, as titled, is showcasing some of the finest Australian Industrial Musical acts. Some I have heard of such as Schkeuditzer Kreuz, Cheap Coffins, and HOSTILE ARCHITECT himself, and the rest being acts I don’t remember hearing about. Twenty-one artists altogether with all profits going to Youth Off The Streets with the first $150 being matched by the organizers.
