Darkwave / synthwave act Moody Mcivor has released their brand-new EP Shadow Frequencies. The album is both a tribute to the act’s close friend Benaiah Fiu and a personal journey. Moody McIvor is fronted by Christopher McIvor from Gold Coast, Australia with his partner in crime, Brazilian-born and Portugal-based Felipe Bortoloti (Norus), sitting in on production support. The project was formed in 2021 and describe themselves as blending “ethereal soundscapes with pulsating rhythms, weaving together electronic textures and organic depth for a sound that is both intimate and expansive.”
