Even though Project Rotten is a Swedish band, they have never played in Sweden, only Germany, until this evening. The venue was Haket and the club was Synthaket. That club have never had a live concert until now, so my expectations on the equipment and experience were pretty low. Boy, was I in for a surprise!

Without a stage and proper lighting, Project Rotten had to do the best they could of the situation, and they did it great. I really got a "wow" feeling during Fredrik's first screams; I had no idea that that guy had that kind of lung capacity. I think most of the about 50 people watching the show felt the same. The overall quality of the sound of the music was pretty alright for the lacking equipment and worked alright for the small venue.

The only complaint I have is probably the bit too long playlist. It's hard to be a new artist, where many of the people seeing the concert never heard of before and still is able to keep focus during twelve tracks. Perhaps it would have been wise to keep the playlist at 7-8 tracks instead.

Still, the crowd loved it and my favourite tracks during the evening was the club remix of "Fear", "Lead or Follow", "Freakshow" and the encore "The Darkside" where the last one seemed to get most of the people excited.

I hope Project Rotten can keep this energy up for all their concerts, in that case, they will be mighty popular as a live artist.
