Nevada Hardware releases new album Split Scene via Thinkbreak Records

Nevada Hardware become a cult-hit when their debut album No Future hit the digital shelves in 2018 and it wasn’t really a buried secret as to why. A combination of 90s inspired cyberpunk and rave mentality and the wonkiness and experimental nature of industrial was combined in a wonderful little package. But it’s been a whole seven years since the release of that album and people have grown HUNGRY. Nevada Hardware saw their empty plates and decided to refill it with their brand-new album Split Scene.

Nevada Hardware and label Thinkbreak Records describe the evolution of the project as bringing “a more confrontational and aggressive sound, blending subversive sampling and distorted guitars into the breakbeat-laden, hook-heavy anthems.” Nevada Hardware’s latest already has the scene in a twist as they’re topping the Bandcamp industrial and Cyberpunk charts at the time of this writing. Definitely album of the year material and something I look forward to reviewing soon.
