Chicago, Illinois based electronic and cyberpunk influenced artist Nevada Hardware has announced that their acclaimed album Split Scene will be releasing in a limited edition 12” LP via Brutal Resonance Records. Originally released on April 23rd, 2025, Split Scene leapt to the top of the Bandcamp charts with many fans automatically claiming it as their album of the year, with many praising its old school antics, big breaks, and 90s industrial vibe. Speaking on the album, founder Doug Jones had this to say:
The album was an unconscious reaction to watching society disintegrate through a computer screen. I wanted this record to be a respite from the oppressive feeling that everything sucks without pretending that things don’t suck.
Online underground electronic blog and independent record label Brutal Resonance is one such fan and hopped on the opportunity to get Split Scene in their favorite format: a big fat 12” collectible record. 50 copies in total will be made available for the world at large. Pre-orders begin September 5th, 2025 with shipping estimated by December at the latest. Pre-order below.
