Industrial / drone project Misandry has released their second EP "Misandry II" via Engram Recordings. The four track EP has been released via Bandcamp and all other major digital retailers. You can purchase / stream the EP directly below:

Our first EP, "Misandry" by Misandry, was a straight-forward collaboration of Trbl.w//Dr3ams and myself (Dia aka NVRS).  The obvious change for this one is the addition of a third project collaborator: Izumi Gould. She is a Noise Artist based in Yamanashi Prefecture, Japan. For "Misandry II", the sound has taken on a life of its own. An organic world with all parts intertwined. 'Goddess Murder' is the best example. It has music from the three of us as though we're playing together like in a live band or orchestra. Nothing is stuck-on. Two tracks are drone-industrial with IDM and techno elements. They've been mixed (by me) in a unique way for an immersive and wet kind of feel. The two from Izumi are HNW-industrial. Power Japan-style noise is another description. Personally, I'm very excited by this release because it's not formulaic and ignores rules. In my own music, I've come up against an issue where techno labels will tell me it's not techno enough or it's "too experimental" and not "accessible." -NVRS

I've been writing for Brutal Resonance since November of 2012 and now serve as the editor-in-chief. I love the dark electronic underground and usually have too much to listen to at once but I love it. I am also an editor at Aggressive Deprivation, a digital/physical magazine since March of 2016. I support the scene as much as I can from my humble laptop.
