There’s always this incessant pounding in the back of my skull that states that if I can’t cover something in full with a full-article and critical analysis included than I shouldn’t be covering it. And then I have to remember that this industrial scene of ours is pretty fucking small and I really shouldn’t think that way as even a pittance of coverage, or a small mention or addition to a playlist can mean the world to some. Thus I’m trying this weekly roundup method of covering stuff again in a small series called BITES. Hopefully this will help alleviate some of that expectation that I put on myself AND make a few bands happy in the process. Anyway, here’s this week. Some of this news might be a month or older but I took a small break before coming back.
Psykkle Releases Augmented Edition of Self-Titled EP
Canadian industrial act Psykkle has released an augmented edition of his self-titled EP. Released at the tail-end of 2025, this new version is a definitive edition of the EP containing an additional track as well as four remixes from Grendel, Virtual Terrorist, Beta Virus, and Wavepeak. I gave the original EP a pretty damned good score when it originally released and this only adds onto that.
CORPSE DUST Releases new album SUFFER via DKA
Ah, good ol’DKA. Perhaps one of the finest underground labels pushing forth some of the finest EBM releases that somewhat break the mold yet stick to the genre’s core themes at hand. CORPSE DUST is yet another one of those needles in the haystacks that’s emerging from Asheville, NC. Eight tracks of Industrial, EBM, and darkwave released both digitally and via cassette.
Planetdamage Puts Out 15-Track Album KILLCAPS
Cyberpunk enthusiast, industrial maniac, caffeine addict, and spicy food connoisseur Planetdamage has unleashed his latest album and it’s a big boy. KILLCAPS is a gigantic fifteen track album running through the Night City inspired depths whilst also going back in time and exploring the lighter roots of the cyberpunk movement. It even includes a remix from industrial heavyweights STATIQBLOOM which is pretty dope.
Zeresh, Kadaver, and Choshech combine to form a trilogy of noise with Metzulot
Three purveyors of music-that-is-considered-out-there Zeresh, Kadaver, and Choshech have combined together to create Metzulot, a combination of industrial, noise, black metal, folk, post-punk, shoegaze, and probably a few other dozen genres thrown in between. Mastered by Peter Bjärgö of Arcana and Sophia with artwork from Noa Charuvi, this is something that those looking for something a bit more esoteric might wanna sink their teeth into.
ANGER 奰 unleashes his anger on GRANDIOSE DELUSIONS
A lot of people have a lot to say about the current state of affairs in the modern world and none are more blunt than electro-industrial and experimental project Anger. The tone is in the name, isn’t it? He’s just released his brand-new album GRANDIOSE DELUSIONS and that contains a an eleven track smattering of the aforementioned genres and ambient passages for reflection. This is one of those releases that I wish I had time to actually review and cover but, alas, time slips away from my feeble fingertips. But at least I can say these few words about it.
Bustié brings Anarcho Body Music and Queer Liberation to the Dancefloor
What do you get when you combine 80s freestyle, acid, house, electro, dance, new beat, dark electro, synthpop, and a little bit of Janet Jackson? You get Bustié and their self-coined Anarcho Body Music. Ya gotta love new genres. In either case they’ve just released their new single Lady of Dread which is teasing their forthcoming album Throb, which lends its name to the Janet Jackson single of the same name and takes after the club antics of that very same single.
