Brooklyn, NY based electrorock group Jane in Space have been making waves since their debut in 2016 which was reviewed on the website to a good 7.5 out of 10. The band's nature can be aligned with that of Nine Inch Nails and Bowie in some respects, but that's bound to happen when working with producer Keith Hildebrandt who has worked with both bands in the past. The audio sensationalist has previously remixed Jane in Space's 'Weightlessness'. He went on to state about Jane in Space's new material that he, "...knew right away that I wanted to be involved in helping them take that next step sonically and artistically."

That being said, we at Brutal Resonance are proud to present an exclusive premiere for Jane in Space's most recent single 'Eat Your Face' off of their upcoming sophomore album "Gorerunner" out on June 1st. Take a listen to that directly below:

With 'Gorerunner', we set out to make every song punch you -- and 'Eat Your Face' hits especially hard, with grimey sub-bass, squealing Moog synths, and ring-modulated guitar squeaks. At the same time, we built the track on a pop foundation: synths plucking a hook, prominent lead vocals in defined verses and choruses, and almost Motown-esque harmonies in the bridge. For us, the end result merges perfectly our influences as a band. -Jane in Space

I've been writing for Brutal Resonance since November of 2012 and now serve as the editor-in-chief. I love the dark electronic underground and usually have too much to listen to at once but I love it. I am also an editor at Aggressive Deprivation, a digital/physical magazine since March of 2016. I support the scene as much as I can from my humble laptop.
