I’m not quite sure what to make of the title of a project named Talk to Her, but what images flutter into my brain are those of a bunch of nervous college dudes at a bar struggling to meet someone for an intimate night so all of their bros tell each, “Just talk to her, bruh.” Now, obviously, this couldn’t be further from the truth in this scenario (I think) as Talk to Her is a quartet exploring post-punk, new wave, and general electronics for aiming for a blend of 90s alternative and modern experiments. And without hesitation have they announced that their brand-new album Pleasure Loss Desire will be released on October 30th via Shyrec and Icy Cold Records with PLD leading the way for success as their first single.

The single has synths, percussion, guitar textures, and it wouldn’t be considered in the realm of goth music if it didn’t have someone singing in a deep tone. The single is accompanied by a music video directed by Daniel Bagolin which can be streamed below.
