Well fuck. It’s been a while, hasn’t it? It felt like just yesterday when Youth Code released their collaboration A Skeleton Key in the Doors of Depression with King Yosef that completely blew my socks off and still finds rotation on my everyday playlist. Just checked out that release date and saw that it came out four years ago in March of 2021. Time flies when you’re listening to industrial music or something like that.
In any event four whole years later sees Youth Code announcing their brand-new EP Yours, With Malice and it’s already shaping up to be a banger. Rather than releasing independently like they did last time Youth Code is partnering with Sumerian Records for the release with CDs, Vinyl, and a T-shirt available for pre-order on the record label’s website.
Youth Code has released the first track of the EP No Consequence on digital streaming services. This one sounds like a throwback track beckoning even before their seminal album Commitment to Complications to their self-titled debut that captured so many hearts and hard dancefloors. If you miss that raw sound you’re gonna love this.
