Synth artist Soft Riot announces new album 'When Push Comes To Shove' via Possession Records
Glasgow-based Canadian synth artist JJD – better known as his musical alter-ego Soft Riot – has announced that his seventh studio album ‘When Push Comes To Shove’ will be released on the 11th of November 2019 via Possession Records. The new record contains eight tracks and will be available in Vinyl, Compact Disc and Digital formats, although you can already download the first single ‘Taking Off The Edge’ along with two exclusive tracks by naming your price or subscribing to the Soft Riot/Possession Records mailing list for free! You can also stream the album directly below and pre-order it HERE.
"Resonating with references from all corners of the synthpop’s origins, Soft Riot’s latest release nonetheless manages to retain its own individual voice, melding and reinterpreting its antecedents with a personal twist and an impressive demonstration of synth-craft and programming. Following on from 2018’s The Outsider in the Mirrors, these eight tracks represent a change in themes and an evolution in production and sound"— Alan Miller, Abnormal PR
