Industrial project Black Agent has released their brand-new album “Dehumanized” via Re:Mission Entertainment. This album follows their 2022 debut “Industrial Ruination” which received praise from critics and fans alike. Expect what Black Agent does best: heavy rhythms, distorted guitars, haunting synthesizers, and incendiary socially conscious vocals.

We wrote most of our last record during the pandemic and riots of 2020, and the result was a very sociopolitical album. Lyrically, Dehumanized deals more with the personal tragedies I've faced in the last year." -Pit, lead vocalist

Much of the album is a sharp breath at personal life of social issues. 2022 saw the mother of Pit’s children commit suicide; the grief from the situation was translated into songs such as ‘Frozen Flowers’, ‘Broken Mind’, and ‘Shot Down’ whilst simultaneously exploring themes of mental illness and drug addiction. ‘Parasite Receiver’, on the other hand, takes a stab at religious hypocrisy and the recent controversy surrounding reproductive rights across the United States.

“Dehumanized” is available in digital, CD and other physical, collectible formats. There is a Crucifetus Bundle which contains the CD, a 9x8 inch Crucifetus 3D printed by the band, and a vinyl sticker. For collector’s out there, Black Agent is also offering up a Limited Edition Picture Disc Vinyl. This is not available to be ordered via Bandcamp; you must e-mail the label directly at remissionentertainment@gmail.com to grab ahold of one.

I've been writing for Brutal Resonance since November of 2012 and now serve as the editor-in-chief. I love the dark electronic underground and usually have too much to listen to at once but I love it. I am also an editor at Aggressive Deprivation, a digital/physical magazine since March of 2016. I support the scene as much as I can from my humble laptop.
