Future Rock N' Roll Electropunk, Rock Wavefall Wavefall - 'Future Rock N' Roll'. Wow. Where to begin? Ok, Track one "Highway Man" starts off and immediately I feel as though the music has not been mastered and the highs can be quite piercing at times. The vocals were low as well making it hard to really "get into" the song. Track two, "Are You Ready?" is kind of retro punky and cheesy, as is most of this album. Track three, "Collider" starts off sounding very much industrial ,but heavily using generic synths. I can't really understand the "lyrics", and add a cheesy laugh, the sound of a race car zipping by, and crowds cheering - I think.. and that's just in the 1st minute or so of the song. Track four, "Dangerous Way" is probably the worst song on the album with the "na na na" and the repetitive synths. I could go on and on describing the rest of the songs but I don't want to come off as blatantly dissing this release. There are a few good tracks on the album. "Future Rock N' Roll" is by far the best track on the album and now I know why it shares the name. Honorable mention goes to track number ten, "My Wild Imagination", a creative instrumental track. I think its so good because it lacks cheesy lyrics that are throughout this release. The rundown on this album: This isn't the worst thing I've heard. I probably wont listen to it ever again though. Would I pay $7.00 for it on Bandcamp? No. I am sure someone out there likes and appretiates the acquired taste that is Wavefall, but I do not. 150
