Net.Ware Twist of Fate Other Various Artists 'Net.Ware Twist of Fate' is a compilation album put together by the indie label Electro Arc. The album consist of 14 tracks that range from everything like harsh EBM to futurepop. I won't write about all tracks because it would take ages to explain them and there is sadly very little good to be said. The first track for instance is Analog Angel's "Shadows" which is a very monotone futurepop / synthpop track which offers very little sadly it's just plain boring in terms of both vocals and music. This is followed by a more aggressive track with a band called Engelich sadly it sounds like this track hasn't even been mastered at all , the volume is very low compared to the previous track and the quality of the song seems to have gone missing in action. Don't get me wrong, I think it's cool labels offer smaller bands or unknown bands a chance to be on a compilation album so that they get a little promotion and get their music out to a broader audience. But in this case it seems like the label haven't bothered to do a final master on all the tracks to get the volumes more even or even bothered to take bands that sound more a like. It's all a big mess actually, you go from a futurepop track to harsh EBM and then over to EBM etc. I feel this hasn't been thought through before being released and if they will release another compilation they should really think before acting and try to make it sound more professional. 350
