Dwarfs Like Giants EBM, Electro Reizstrom Reizstrom is a completely new band to me and 'Dwarfs Like Giants' is their second release after their debut release last year. This 17 tracks long album is 13 new tracks and 4 remixes and is probably best described as bodypop. It starts out strong with the sing-along-friendly "Simple Addition" that somewhat reminds me of Swedish Dupont. Unfortunately, the beginning is also the high point of this album. There's some other nice tracks like "Paralyzed" and "The Hurting Light", but generally I feel that the phase slows down and the tracks swifts in both style and quality, perhaps over complicating things. On the plus side though, I must say that the vocal levels are great and production in general is well done. So by all means, do not discard Reizstrom just yet, they have potential and from my point of view, I think they should try to focus on the bodypop style of things, since "Simple Addition" is simply great. 350
