Das EP Industrial, Noise Komor Kommando Sebastian Komor has been a busy guy. He's probably most known for his work with Icon of Coil, but also Moonitor and Zombie Girl. Nowadays he also have started out a industrial metal band called MELT and released a brand new noise techno EP called 'Das EP' with the artist name Komor Kommando. It's the EP we are going to take a closer look at. 'Das EP' is defiantly the hardest musical experience you got so far from Komor, we are talking about hard bashing instrumental noise techno. The EP is seven tracks long and I think it works to the benefit, since more tracks would probably get a bit too repetitive. It all starts with the best track in my opinion, "Love Your Neighbour" which is really is a dance floor crusher. With the third track "Triggerfinger", you can really hear some Icon of Coil in it, special sounds and melodies. Together with "Das Oontz", these three tracks are the best this EP will offer. The other tends to be less compelling, repetitive or the feeling that something is missing that really pulls you into the music. By the way, if you have a headache, don't listen to this album, it's not going to make it better. When you reach the second track "State of Destruction", your brain mass will pour out from every hole in your face. 350
