Le Serpent Rouge Ambient, Darkwave Arcana It's hard for me to create a good beginning so I just simply say that this is a GREAT record. For me it's a long longed release and I wasn't disappointed at all. Peter Bjärgö have succeeded in creating a long range of new and tones and melodies from near and far away. The music feels inspired by the dark medieval Arabian deserts, belly dancers and sultans. The Oriental tones take Arcana to a new dimension where the musicians can explore new melodies and sounds. The CD is available in two versions, an ordinary CD-version and one handmade box-version. The box version is limited to 100 copies and there is room for a sister album in the box, which is under progress right now. It's only those who bought the box that can buy the sister-record. The layout on this record is created by Agnieszka Szuba from Poland. I must say that the layout on this record is one of the best I've seen too. 'Le Serpent Rouge' is one of the most exciting releases from 2004 and this is a must for every man and woman to have in their collection.
