ndustrial techno, dark electro, and noise artist Her Noise Is Violence reveals her brand new five track EP "Out Of Time" on Brutal Resonance Records. The EP kicks off with 'Nuclear Age'. The deep bass fills the song as the incoherent whispering sounds off as the millions who have died from terrifying weapons of war. 'Pale Horse' ticks the dark electro boxes while textures reel it into the near-future. The title track has a rough edge, as if a clock is running out. The closest thing you'll get to classic Her Noise Is Violence sounds, but also a deconstruction of it. 'Stolen Dreams' brings balance between chill atmosphere, noisy background samples, and swirling basslines. Finishing off the EP comes 'Apathy', where the bass guitar serves for rain swept streets but constant ticking electronics boost it into a dystopian universe. This is yet another definitive Her Noise Is Violence release.

"Out Of Time" is available in digital and limited-edition cassette formats. T-shirts and a bundle are also available.

"For this EP, I really wanted to get out of my comfort zone and work with sounds I seldom do as Her Noise Is Violence. I borrowed a lot of ideas that I normally use with my other project, Funeral Pyre - but I also allowed myself to just be immersed into the theme as a whole. Nuclear war, the end of civilization, living in the Kali Yuga, etc. I wanted to go more for feeling vs dance-ability and DJ friendliness. I guess this is a hybrid album of both my style as Her Noise Is Violence as well as being a part of Funeral Pyre." -Her Noise Is Violence

I've been writing for Brutal Resonance since November of 2012 and now serve as the editor-in-chief. I love the dark electronic underground and usually have too much to listen to at once but I love it. I am also an editor at Aggressive Deprivation, a digital/physical magazine since March of 2016. I support the scene as much as I can from my humble laptop.
