Video: Since the River - Ithaca
Since The River is the musical collaboration between Adam Bennett and Sarah Hickey, a two-piece from Melbourne (Australia) inspired by minimalism, lyrical freedom and the addition of live projections/visuals to accompany their sound.
Influenced by the likes of Scott Walker, David Lynch, Zola Jesus, Fever Ray and HTRK, the duo produce a rather eclectic blend of styles. With the layering of synthetic beats, Adam's desolate guitars and Sarah's soaring vocals, the sounds created are beautiful, haunting & hypnotic.
