Primarily techno, but inspired by industrial, EBM, dark electro, and other such underground electronic genres, Vexillary has been on a non-stop musical rollercoaster for quite some time with back-to-back albums in 2021 and 2022 respectively. "Crash and Yearn", his most recent album, is still in the promotional pipeline and as such, it's only natural for the New York based producer to release an official music video. Thus, the glitchy visuals were birthed for 'Le Diable'. Starring Alena Vaslena, you can stream it directly below.

'Le Diable' is the haunting, high revving, gothic techno tune off of my latest album 'Crash and Yearn'. The music video for the song complements the surreal horror elements of the track through a bewitching cinematic style reminiscent of movies like Lost Highway and Donnie Darko. The video was made in collaboration with VFX artist, Glass Void, who's unique analog glitch style was also featured on the previous Vexillary video for 'Come as Your Madness'. The result is a spellbinding audio-visual experience that deserves your attention.

'Le Diable' comes off of Vexillary's most recent album "Crash and Yearn", released via con:trace. The video was produced and directed by Vexillary himself, with VFX / editing done by Glass Void and videography by Anrii Didyk.

I've been writing for Brutal Resonance since November of 2012 and now serve as the editor-in-chief. I love the dark electronic underground and usually have too much to listen to at once but I love it. I am also an editor at Aggressive Deprivation, a digital/physical magazine since March of 2016. I support the scene as much as I can from my humble laptop.
