Producer collective Venus in Aries have released their debut album Beyond the Veil via Glitch Mode Recordings. The darkly electronic band is led by the vocal and lyrical styling of frontwoman Verena May, with David Borsky of Decedent, Andrew Tremblay of STRNGR, and Sean Payne of Cyanotic and Vampyre Anvil all collaborating together to create a wholesome album.

Though the album contains lots of danceable beats with slower songs intermingled, the Beyond the Veil also serves as a storytelling release for Verena May. The album also contains the original version of the CronenBorg Body Horror Mix for the title track of the album, which previously appeared on Glitch Mode Recording's Viva Dystopia compilation.

The album is currently available for free, however all proceeds will be donated to the CDOP Clinic at Bellevue Hospital NYC for individuals that are in treatment for mental illness, recovering from addiction and have suffered abuse and/or domestic violence. You can donate to the cause HERE, and can stream the album directly below:

I've been writing for Brutal Resonance since November of 2012 and now serve as the editor-in-chief. I love the dark electronic underground and usually have too much to listen to at once but I love it. I am also an editor at Aggressive Deprivation, a digital/physical magazine since March of 2016. I support the scene as much as I can from my humble laptop.
