Theatrical Trailer, Poster Released for "They're Watching"
The upcoming horror film They're Watching set to be released on March 25th by Best Served Cold Productions has officially unveiled its poster and trailer. As the poster can be viewed above, the trailer can be streamed below:
They're Watching follows the story of an American home improvement TV show visiting an Eastern European village. After the reality TV interrupts a religious ritual, the cast learns exactly what happens when you mess with a cult.
The film is directed by Micah Wright and Jay Lender, who have been friends since their years directly out of college. Noted for their works in television animation such as The Angry Beavers and Hey Arnold!, video games such as Call of Duty and Ratchet & Clank, six graphic novels including Duster, films, and for receiving two awards for Virtual Reality work for Samsung, Wright and Lender have made They're Watching in hopes of avoiding horror stereotypes.
The cast includes David Alpay, Brigid Brannagh, Kris Lemche, Carrie Genzel, Dimitri Diatchenko, and Mia Faith.
"When friends and family ask us what They’re Watching is about, we smile and say 'You know that television show House Hunters International? Our movie’s like that, only at the end, everybody dies screaming.'" - Wright and Lender
I've been writing for Brutal Resonance since November of 2012 and now serve as the editor-in-chief. I love the dark electronic underground and usually have too much to listen to at once but I love it. I am also an editor at Aggressive Deprivation, a digital/physical magazine since March of 2016. I support the scene as much as I can from my humble laptop.
