Following up on his previous single 'Be Somebody', Swedish Synthwave/Synthpop musician Icarus has teamed up with Tove Quick to release 'Machine Heart'. The single keeps the retro/cyberpunk vibe paired with a pop-tinge due in part to Quick's vocals and help with writing the song. The single was released alongside a pixel-art lyric video that you can stream directly below:

'Machine Heart' follows a concept story laid out in his previous single. A synthetic human who has been created in the image of it's maker lacks emotion and turns on it's creator making everything in this futuristic universe complicated.

Icarus is scheduled to release his next single on November 20th with an animated music video.

I've been writing for Brutal Resonance since November of 2012 and now serve as the editor-in-chief. I love the dark electronic underground and usually have too much to listen to at once but I love it. I am also an editor at Aggressive Deprivation, a digital/physical magazine since March of 2016. I support the scene as much as I can from my humble laptop.
