Alright, before we begin, in case any of you illiterate bastards need a short version of this story, here it is: Sludge Faktory, a clothing outlet for gothic/industrial wardrobes, is a scam site and I have plenty of sources backing me here. So, don't order from them, and share this.

Now, for those of you who can appreciate the fine talents of reading and writing, this is where you begin to use those wonderful skills of your that your mommy and daddy began teaching you when you were but a mere child. Now, let me begin off by stating my very own problems with Sludge Faktory from the beginning and exactly how I came across them.

It began one day, when I was using my favorite default search provider on a sunny day which I was not going to shine back at. And that search provider would be Google. I was just looking for some cool looking T-Shirts, cheap though, as I am the kind of guy who wears black T-Shirts, cargo pants, and boots all year round, aside from the occasional hiccup in personal adornments. And, so, lo and behold, I came across Sludge Faktory.

The site looked decent enough. I mean, it looked like it was put together by an amateur, but, nonetheless, they were offering some pretty sweet choices in clothing, and they even had some pretty awesome T-Shirt designs on their website (My favorite being one that showed a rat with the phrase "Black Death: European Tour 1347-1351). And, I E-Mailed the site with hopes of being able to order a bunch of T-Shirts on July 5th. At first, it seemed like I would be able to. I got a response back by the next day, and paid a total sum of $120.94 through PayPal for the shirts. And I was told that it would take about two weeks to ship and prepare them. And so I waited.

Exactly two weeks after I ordered my cargo and it had not arrived, I E-Mailed Sludge Faktory again. This time, they told me it should be shipped out by the week and that my order was ready to go. I thanked them like the fine young chap I am, and then we stayed in contact for a bit more. That is, until, my order did not arrive once more.

I E-Mailed them again, got no response, and then again, and did not receive another response. I was infuriated. So, I took to FaceBook, found their FaceBook page, and messaged them asking about my order. The guy behind Sludge Faktory messaged me back and saidthe he had been "...in the hospital for an incision that ruptured..." from his last surgery. Okay. I can understand that. I mean, if I was a guy running a small business and my hand got all fucked up and I wasn't able to do that work, then I would want people to understand as well. That conversation happened on August 11th.

However, shortly after, the Sludge Faktory FaceBook page was taken down. And I did not receive any news from the man. And that's when I looked into seeing how legitimate of a business Sludge Faktory was. Turned out they've done this type of shit to a bunch of other people.

So, thereafter, I found out that they reopened their FaceBook page. I messaged them on September 3rd threatening them with legal action if they did not repay me. And, right quick, they helped me resolve the case. I had to go through PayPal and get my money back. The lady on the phone was very nice to me. She said that I should have my money back anytime between when I called, on the 4th, and the 14th if the seller gives me my money back. If not, then PayPal would refund me my money on the 15th. And, as it would happen, I got my money back on the 15th, because Sludge Faktory would not dare give me my money back. And that was the end of my case.

Nonetheless, they are scammers, and have done this countless of times before. I will be posting a few links to prove my point. And, if you go on their current FaceBook page, occasionally, you'll see a comment or two claiming them to be a scam. And you know what happens to those comments? They get deleted real quick by Sludge Faktory. Obviously, they don't want their great reputation to be tarnished.

So, I am not a huge fan of internet drama, but when you scam and rip off not only myself, but a bunch of other people looking just for some awesome clothing that you CLAIM you sell, you need to be called out. And that's exactly what I'm aiming to do. So, please, share this so that you and your friends don't wind up being an idiot and a fucktard like myself. I should've researched more into Sludge Faktory before ordering, but, sadly, I didn't, and I gained a massive headache all because of that. Share, and never EVER order from Sludge Faktory. Don't get scammed.

I've been writing for Brutal Resonance since November of 2012 and now serve as the editor-in-chief. I love the dark electronic underground and usually have too much to listen to at once but I love it. I am also an editor at Aggressive Deprivation, a digital/physical magazine since March of 2016. I support the scene as much as I can from my humble laptop.
