A group of dedicated fans have created a short documentary revolving Abortive Gasp, a German electro-industrial project that lived from 1987 to 1989. Originally born from the minds of Tim Paal and Harry Luehr, they eventually transformed into a trio. They were characterized by their high degree of improvisation as well as early applications of dub. The project was largely apolitical at the time when tensions were high due to the Soviet takeover of East Germany. Thus, they were largely ignored in their homeland. All this and more is explored in the documentary which can be streamed directly below:

I've been writing for Brutal Resonance since November of 2012 and now serve as the editor-in-chief. I love the dark electronic underground and usually have too much to listen to at once but I love it. I am also an editor at Aggressive Deprivation, a digital/physical magazine since March of 2016. I support the scene as much as I can from my humble laptop.
