Swedish/American electropop duo Rose Suau and Johan Angergård AKA Djustin have released their debut single "Stars". The sweeping synths and steady EBM rhythm will break up the monotony of standard radio pop; this is for fans of darker but emotional synthpop. Listen to it for yourself below:

Djustin began way before the band was ever even thought about. Both Rose and Johan had a liking for each other's projects in the late 90s, Shoestrings and Club 8, and would write each other letters regarding their passion for music and love. Letters transformed to E-Mails, and they continued to discuss new bands they created such as Pallers, Invisible Twin, and The Legends.

Being born in the same year with the same star sign and the same record collections, Djustin was meant to be. It was in 2015 when Johan was looking for a vocalist and lyricist for a new project, and he thought Rose fit the bill.

I love the soulful sensualism in Rose’s voice and figured she’d be perfect for the project. I’m pretty used to writing everything myself and wanted to see what would happen if I did things in new ways. So, I took the chance and sent a couple of tracks over to Rose with me singing gibberish. A week later she dropped a recording of the finished vocals and it was…well, just lovely. - Johan

I've been writing for Brutal Resonance since November of 2012 and now serve as the editor-in-chief. I love the dark electronic underground and usually have too much to listen to at once but I love it. I am also an editor at Aggressive Deprivation, a digital/physical magazine since March of 2016. I support the scene as much as I can from my humble laptop.
