Estonian electronic artist Darkov Strange has released his debut single ‘0’. Channeling elements of Dark synthwave and industrial rock, Darkov Strange has crafted a personal, emotional ballad both representing the nothingness found in the number zero, as well as how it can represent the circle of life. Sweeping synth pads, grim electronic lines, and desperately distraught vocals showcase Darkov Strange’s mental state throughout the song. Complete with a trippy, hand drawn music video, it’s a mesmerizing experience that must be seen.

Speaking on the single, Darkov Strange had this to say:

I wrote it a few days after my grandfather passed. Everything just poured out of me. This song serves as an inner study of myself and a reminder that every day we grow closer to death. And I’m fine with that. Standing on my forefather’s grave is a bit like standing on my own grave. After all, we share the same DNA.

I've been writing for Brutal Resonance since November of 2012 and now serve as the editor-in-chief. I love the dark electronic underground and usually have too much to listen to at once but I love it. I am also an editor at Aggressive Deprivation, a digital/physical magazine since March of 2016. I support the scene as much as I can from my humble laptop.
