BARA HARI can generally be seen as a jack of all trades; a multi-media entrepreneur who designs her own costumes, directs and edits her own music videos, and makes her own music. I imagine this leads to a very busy and very creative lifestyle that can, at times, be draining. In the end, however, when what's achieved eclipses expectations I believe it's all worth it. Just taking a look at what she's been able to accomplish in the past with videos such as 'Ugly on the Inside' and 'White Noise' and her EP "Dark New Day" is a testimony to her hard working, DIY mentality. And all this has stretched into her most recent music video 'Tempest'.

Naturally, a hard-working artist only improves in their craft throughout the years. This is true in the case of BARA HARI whose technique has improved immensely since we last heard her on "Dark New Day". There's a certain energy found within 'Tempest' that's hard to ignore; perhaps it's the increased focus on slightly thumpier percussion that gives the single its edge. Or is it the confidence within her voice that demands attention and, in a sense, reverence? These are but a duo of question and comment that echo within the title of her upcoming album, and one that 'Tempest' is part of, titled "Lesser Gods". Until then, we have this to adore. I've been writing for Brutal Resonance since November of 2012 and now serve as the editor-in-chief. I love the dark electronic underground and usually have too much to listen to at once but I love it. I am also an editor at Aggressive Deprivation, a digital/physical magazine since March of 2016. I support the scene as much as I can from my humble laptop.
