Cinematic Electronic/Industrial Project Slighter Releases New Album "Erode"
Los Angeles, California based cinematic electronic and industrial producer Slighter has released his brand new, twelve track album Erode via record label Confusion Inc.
Erode showcases a more personal side to Slighter with the titular producer providing all vocals on the album himself, aside from appearances by Sean Payne of Cyanotic and Craig Joseph Huxtable of Ohm and Landscape Body Machine. He has stated that he has found his own voice and, continuing, he states:
Looking back at what I've written as Slighter, I wanted to get personal this time around. A lot of electronic music out there is created from a safe, predictable corner and for me is hard to find a way to really emotionally connect to it. I set out to make something that above anything else would be a cathartic experience for me writing songs again, getting back to playing guitars and penning lyrics. I didn't want to play it safe, I wanted to challenge myself.
