Industrial electrorock artist Blue Eyed Christ has released a lyric video for their cover of the Gary Glitter hit Do You Wanna Touch Me (Oh Yea). The track comes off their upcoming album A Rush and a Thrill out on November 4, 2014.

John D. Norten of Blue Eyed Christ on the track: "I?ve always been a big fan of Joan Jett. I love the mix of raw energy and sexual tension in her version of ?Do You Wanna Touch Me (Oh Yeah)?. I actually didn?t even know it was originally a Gary Glitter song until after I recorded my version. Mine is much more true to the Joan Jett version but modernized with big drums, huge guitars, heavy synths, and a dose of noise to give it the Blue Eyed Christ sound."

Also, there's a contest going on to appear in the official Freakshow video. Rules are as followed:

1. Download the song "Freakshow" exclusively HERE for free from the forthcoming album A Rush and a Thrill to be released November 4th
2. Record your "Freakshow" Video of anything provocative and interesting. Getting your Halloween Freak on? Singing along? Dancing? Stripping? The Freakier the better!
3. Send your video links to blueeyedchrist@gmail.com using wetransfer.com.

Submissions must be uploaded by Nov 4, 2014 to be considered for use in the official video.

I've been writing for Brutal Resonance since November of 2012 and now serve as the editor-in-chief. I love the dark electronic underground and usually have too much to listen to at once but I love it. I am also an editor at Aggressive Deprivation, a digital/physical magazine since March of 2016. I support the scene as much as I can from my humble laptop.
