Bad Pollyanna & Sophie Lancaster Foundation Launch 'Invincible Girl' Marking 7th Anniversary Of Tragic Murder
The tragic murder of Sophie Lancaster is one that will not be forgotten, and alternative rock band Bad Pollyanna has teamed up with The Sophie Lancaster Foundation and makeup brand Illamasqua for their charity song Invincible Girl.
Mother of Sophie, Sylvia Lancaster founded the Sophie Lancaster Foundation to commemorate her memory, and to also rid prejudice and intolerance of people found within subcultures.
Sylvia Lancaster on the Bad Pollyanna's song: "To say that everyone at The Sophie Lancaster Foundation is extremely excited about this track is an understatement. We all feel that seven years is an appropriate milestone to celebrate the strength and courage Sophie?s death has given us to slowly but surely change the world.
