Cult of Alia : Offerings
Darkwave project Cult of Alia has announced that their debut EP "Offerings" will be released on Cold Transmission Music on July 16th, 2021. The project has been making a name for itself by releasing three singles, as well as remixing fellow darkwave project Twin Tribes and industrial / EBM act System Syn. Ambient and neoclassical composer William St. Hugh has released his brand new album, "The Cracking Ship". The all instrumental album takes inspiration from E. Panic Lift : Split
Industrial band Panic Lift has released a brand new EP titled "Split". The four track release contains two original tracks as well as remixes from Wesenberg and Grendel. This is the first of five thematically connected EPs. The release span of the EPs will go into 2022 and will contain two original tracks and two remixes a piece. Panic Lift has also announced that each of these releases will be presented in a limited edition physical format of some kind; "Split", for example, is released in cassette format. Graham Haynes vs Submerged : Echolocation
Ohm Resistance has announced a partnership with record label Burning Ambulance, which was founded by Blue Note employee and The Wire writer Phil F. Freeman. The first release is a collaboration between Graham Haynes and Submerged, both of whom are former member of Method of Defiance. Funeral Pyre : Il Lievito Della Luce: La Tenebra
Funeral Pyre, the collaboration of noise musician Raye Albate (Her Noise Is Violence) and István Zilahy, has released their debut EP "Il Lievito Della Luce: La Tenebra". The EP contains three tracks altogether, including two original tracks and an alternate, slow mix version of 'End : Code : Restart'. Dark electronic project TeknoVore has released a brand new single titled 'Vox Machina'. The producer has described it as having "hard beats, furious bass lines, relentless energy, spiraling acid lines, an unexpectedly melodic peak". Child of Night : Unafraid
Darkwave band Child of Night have announced that their new album "The Walls at Dawn" will be released via Play Alone Records, Wave Records, and Beso De Muerte Records. In celebration of this, Child of Night has also released the music video for the single 'Unafraid'. Vocalist Niabi spoke of the single and stated that the, "lyrics and vocal melody for 'Unafraid' fell out of me, written all in one day. I will never betray the meaning of the song, but I will say this: The first line of the second verse was inspired by the admittance of a guilty pleasure, and I ran with the idea of safety for people that I care about, safety for myself. At the end of the song, the question is asked, 'Is it worth it to fall?' And only you can answer that question. When you see us perform 'Unafraid' live, you’ll undoubtedly know my [our] answer..."
