This Week On Brutal: September 4th-11th
Slow week this week at Brutal, but that can be blamed entirely on the lazy co-editor who decided to snap photos of his recent packages and post them on Facebook rather than writing more about the scene. I, of course, am talking about myself. Needless to say next week will see a much different course of action as I have lots and lots to catch up on! But, here's what you may have missed this week:
REVIEWS AND AN EXCLUSIVE PREMIERE.
This week we got the chance to talk with upcoming industrial metal group Flesh Coated Tech whose album we also exclusively premiered on the site! For fans of sci-fi lore and cyber metal antics, these guys are for you.
In talks of reviews, the Greek industrial warriors Preemptive Strike 0.1 hit hard with their Eternal Masters EP. Three songs all done twice over by six different industrial/black/death metal bands. It scored a solid 8 out of 10. Eagle I Stallian won over Layla with their trance/tribal two-track EP Reminiscence scoring a 7.5 out of 10. Cygnets came along with a 6.5 out of 10 with their latest album Alone/Together, and despite the lower score it still has some amazing tracks entwined within.
But that's all for now. I'll see you on the site next week!

info@brutalresonance.comI've been writing for Brutal Resonance since November of 2012 and now serve as the editor-in-chief. I love the dark electronic underground and usually have too much to listen to at once but I love it. I am also an editor at Aggressive Deprivation, a digital/physical magazine since March of 2016. I support the scene as much as I can from my humble laptop.
