This Week On Brutal: Aug. 22-28
I'M BACK. Vacation was nice and all but now I'm back. I even bought a pirate sword so that was neat. Anyway, it was a slow week as I just got back on Friday and am slowly catching up with everything as the world is turning. With all the so-called industrial scene drama that's been going around (I haven't seen a fucking bit of it) I suppose it's nice to get your mind off of such silly nonsense. That being said, here's what we wrote about this week:
REVIEWS. THIS IS ALL THIS WEEK.
As it was stated in those bold, CAPS LOCKed letters above, we just have four reviews for you this week. For those fans of synth/retrowave, you might want to take a look at Volkor X's This Means War as it's a fantastic ride through music from the future influenced by the 80s from one hell of a Frenchman. It scored a great 8 out of 10. Industrial rock outfit Jane In Space scored well with their self-titled debut album Jane In Space and got a decent 7.5 out of 10. Lastly, electro/ambient project Agura Matra's Good Night got a 7 out of 10, so listen to that if you wanna feel a bit relaxed.
And we have a movie review! Yes, in case you've forgotten, we do review films every once in a while here at Brutal Resonance. This time I took it upon myself to review Green Room. Violence. Neo-Nazis. Punk Music. And Sir Patrick Stewart. Tell me why you haven't seen this one yet.
That's all for this week! Stay tuned for next week as I sort through everything else. Cheers!

info@brutalresonance.comI've been writing for Brutal Resonance since November of 2012 and now serve as the editor-in-chief. I love the dark electronic underground and usually have too much to listen to at once but I love it. I am also an editor at Aggressive Deprivation, a digital/physical magazine since March of 2016. I support the scene as much as I can from my humble laptop.
