Psy'aviah has released a brand new single titled 'Pretender'. Featuring the vocal talent of Maysa, 'Pretender' sounds like an upbeat, summer-ready synthpop anthem. However, beneath the happy-go-lucky layers lies a deeper, darker study: how social media negatively influences a person's life. Released with a music video, the single is a part of an EP which contains a house-disco remix by FUNDISC, hard dancefloor club remixes by DEVICE NOIZE and STUDIO-X, and a chillout, drum'n'bass remix from HUMANS CAN'T REBOOT. You can stream the music video below and you can purchase the EP HERE.

Psy'Aviah has been discussing themes of how social media, phone, and internet usage effects people's lives all over the world. He has started up interview sessions that feature philosopher Johan Braeckman, digital media expert Clo Willaerts, prof. Dr. Psychiatry Dirk De Wachter, stand-up comedian Nigel Williams and more guests discussing the phenomenon on YouTube. You can catch episode one of the interview sessions below:

I've been writing for Brutal Resonance since November of 2012 and now serve as the editor-in-chief. I love the dark electronic underground and usually have too much to listen to at once but I love it. I am also an editor at Aggressive Deprivation, a digital/physical magazine since March of 2016. I support the scene as much as I can from my humble laptop.
