I'm terrible: the countdown started, and I already took one skip day.

So without further ado, let's go back in track and present you #22. After starting with a newcomer, is time to introduce one of the "big uncles" of this genre, a band which has already spanned two decades with its music: we are talking about HAUJOBB, and their remix album "Let's Drop Bombs", companion to last year's full length "New World March".
Some might be against of putting an album of remixes and alternative versions in a top list like this one, but when you stumble upon a release so carefully put together, you just cannot ignore it.

The brainchild of Daniel Myer and Dejan Samardzic, Haujobb always sounded to me the way Depeche Mode would have sounded if they decided to bring the "Ultra" lesson into the pure underground territory. This release makes no difference, bringing you state-of-the-art sound design along with brilliant vocals and catchy choruses.

And even some of the "dreaded oontz", but of the good kind: just check the remix done by The Horrorist if you want your next dance floor filler, fellow DJs!

So after all, there' still hope for Germany: and being Myer also the driving force behind the Planet Myer Day festival in Leipzig, one can hope that even in those lands quality music can still shine like a beacon in the mist.

Suggested listening: Let's Drop Bombs (Radio Edit), Membrane (The Horrorist Remix), The Ultimate Trap (People Theatre's Cove Mix).
