Norwegian purveyor of the darkest and gloomiest industrial metal Carrion crept onto the scene earlier this year with their foreboding EP "Revelation". The six track release sought to bring lunacy and daemonic presence unto the Earth and succeeded in doing so with destructive rhythms that were oh-so catchy. Carrion has not been sleeping, though, as soon as August hit they were on their way to teasing a brand new album with their first single 'Flowers of Eden'. A bundle of hate and aggression, the single was followed up by the second tease to "ICONOCLASM" titled 'Messor'. Two fantastic singles blending grim black metal and savage industrial have already made "ICONOCLASM" a must-have album of 2019 which is why we're proud to provide you with a third helping of Carrion.

Brutal Resonance and Carrion are excited to bring you the project's third and latest single 'The Warmth of Flesh'. Featured on our most recent compilation "28" (check it out HERE) we are also happy to announce that Carrion's official music video for the single will be streaming exclusively via our YouTube channel. You can check it out directly below:

Carrion brings us another slow-crawling slab of filth and decay. Black and white imagery and depressing but murderous lyrics paints a picture of a serial killer giving out their vows to their victim. So to speak a marriage of life and death is arranged in this song as the almost Buffalo Bill-like lyrical content is sung, "Let me wear you like a dress / Smear my lips and suck me up / Take my hand and feel me in your guts".

Carrion's music can be viewed and purchased directly via their Bandcamp page with "ICONOCLASM" due out on September 28th. The album will be available in digital and physical formats with the physical version having a few bonus tracks including an acoustic version of 'The Light' and a demo version of a track named 'Maleficium' which was unfortunately lost due to technical errors. Carrion has also announced the track list for the album as well as provided us the cover art for the album in this exclusive unveiling:

I've been writing for Brutal Resonance since November of 2012 and now serve as the editor-in-chief. I love the dark electronic underground and usually have too much to listen to at once but I love it. I am also an editor at Aggressive Deprivation, a digital/physical magazine since March of 2016. I support the scene as much as I can from my humble laptop.
