For some, childhood memories bring back tales of glee or a fond nostalgic moment. However, in the case of Düshan Düshan childhood memories bring back darker thoughts. Russian experimental artists transfers these memories into his latest harsh noise and experimental album "YOU | TOY". As he states, "the circle of violence is the same for everyone", and he hopes to convey that message in the album. The center piece of the album is "I Hope He Will Die Soon", which Düshan Düshan described as "post-industrial that looks like doom metal". Recorded and inspired by Sunn O)))'s similar techniques (as seen HERE), you can stream the album directly below.

Speaking on the album, Düshan Düshan had this to say: I was really inspired by the releases of recent years from Sunn O))), The Body, Genocide Organ, Dreamcrusher, Full Of Hell, Uniform, Brighter Dead Now and Autechre and tried to bring them closer stilistically in my upcoming releases, mixing power electronics, musique concrete, dark ambient, harsh noise and doom / drone metal.

Düshan Düshan has also released a music video for the song 'I Hope He Will Die Soon' which can be streamed directly below.

I've been writing for Brutal Resonance since November of 2012 and now serve as the editor-in-chief. I love the dark electronic underground and usually have too much to listen to at once but I love it. I am also an editor at Aggressive Deprivation, a digital/physical magazine since March of 2016. I support the scene as much as I can from my humble laptop.
