Anywave Records and Brutal Resonance are proud to premiere the record label's latest outstanding find, Border Menace. This is the solo project of Australian musician Alex Lee, who has been involved in the likes of Repairs, Heavy Birthday, La Ferme, Wikolee, and Subterranean Rain. The project's latest album "Inland Ocean", is a follow-up to Border Menace's 2018 EP "In Sepia". The album gives nods to ambient synth work of early Krautrock pioneers from the late 90s and 2000s. Joining Border Menace on the album is Nicole Wojcik, a write and linguist based in Berlin.

Out in just a few days from now, we have a glimpse into the experimental nature of Border Menace's latest album with 'Bloodshot Onset'. The single features noisey synthwork and layers of electronic textures. It's paired with a music video, or at least a visual oddity, that distorts and warps real-world images in a grey color scheme. You can stream the video directly below:

Border Menace's "Inland Ocean" will be out via Anywave Record's Bandcamp page. You can follow them HERE for the full release.

I've been writing for Brutal Resonance since November of 2012 and now serve as the editor-in-chief. I love the dark electronic underground and usually have too much to listen to at once but I love it. I am also an editor at Aggressive Deprivation, a digital/physical magazine since March of 2016. I support the scene as much as I can from my humble laptop.
